I’ll never forget the day Tim Tebow joined the NFL. As a big fan, I was naturally ecstatic and waited with anticipation for the start of the season. Little did I know how much success he would have! Throughout his career Tim Tebow accumulated wins that left us all in awe. To put it in perspective, he won more games in three years than most quarterbacks win in five.
At first, I didn’t think Tim Tebow was going to make it. I remember people mocking him all the time for his unique style of play and they even started a movement to get him out of the league. But it was clear that his passion and dedication to the game made him successful, no matter what anyone said.
So, how many games did Tim Tebow win in the NFL? The answer is that he won a total of 8 games throughout his three year career. That’s 8 wonderful victories that I, and every other true fan, will always remember. Of those 8, three of the games were won in overtime! It was remarkable to watch him push his team further than anyone expected them to go – each time, and each overtime period, he proved that not all quarterbacks play the same.
The way Tim handled the pressure was inspiring. When other quarterbacks struggle to stay composed, Tim always kept his cool. He stayed level-headed and was willing to take the high road after any losses. That’s why, when his team won, it was so great to see his joy beaming from the sidelines.
One moment I’ll never forget is the Miracle at Mile High. With only seconds to go in the game, Denver was down by two points. All of us were prepared for the worst, but Tim was determined for the team to win. Even the announcers seemed to doubt him, but sure enough, he brought the team down the field to score a touchdown in the last play of the game. I’ll never forget how relieved, yet ecstatic, I was when it was all over!
Tim Tebow’s NFL wins didn’t stop there. During the 2011 season, he played the Pittsburgh Steelers and completely blew them out of the water. The score was 29-23, and he was the driving force. He rushed for 50 yards, threw for 316 yards, and scored two touchdowns. I’ve never seen someone come to life and take control of a game the way he did that day. He truly shined at his peak.
The next season, Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets, and unfortunately he didn’t win any games while he was there. That didn’t deter him though; he still kept up the spirit of the team and the motivation around the locker room was never higher.
When the season was over, everyone was in awe of the 8 Tim Tebow NFL wins! Although it was his time of professional football, his legacy still lives on as an example of determination and resilience. If you ever need inspiration, just think of Tim Tebow and be reminded of what it means to fight for something.
